RD&T offers independent, knowledgeable and practical expertise to test and develop a range of products. We can offer help with refrigeration, refrigerants, heat transfer, legislation and performance testing.

We have climatic chambers, with logging systems to allow testing to many different standards. We have traditionally tested the temperature and energy performance of refrigerated equipment and can carry out testing for energy labelling which is a legal requirement in many countries. We can use our climatic chambers to test a range of other products and increasingly test a range of products that cool or heat. These can be tests to a prescribed test standard or a bespoke test we develop with manufacturers or end users. We can help at all stages from initial concept to development of prototypes to final optimisation and testing (including making sure that products sold in the UK and Europe meet f-gas legislative requirements in terms of refrigerant safety). We also provide services to independently witness tests at manufacturers or end users’ facilities.
